The Good Shepherd:
The movie is a version of the
birth of the CIA. It cuts back and forth in time, showing how Edward
follows the spy who spoiled the surprise of 1961's Bay of Pigs invasion and how
he became committed to his job. He has flashbacks of his father's
death, and student days at Yale, During WWII; Edward starts working for
the Office of Strategic Services in London. He finds out that you have to do
bad methods to protect border. Some bad methods are lying, cheating, and
murdering. I, personally thought, this movie was a great movie. There were some
parts which might have not taken place back then, but the director put it in
for drama. For example, Edward's love that he had with three girls. I
recommended this movie to some people, but not everyone. If you are not a person who is not
good with movies that cuts back and forth in time, then it is not a movie for
you.
